Pantanal is a seasonal ecosystem, we have carefully planned our expedition during the peak wildlife season, when the receding water levels of the dry season concentrate animals around rivers and lagoons. This ensures exceptional sightings of jaguars and other iconic

Highlights of Tour

1. Two Diverse Ecosystems: Exploring the Pantanal: North and South

The Pantanal is divided into two distinct regions, each offering unique landscapes and species.

 

South Pantanal:

• Landscapes: Open grasslands, marshes, and Working Ranches which supports Eco tourism.

• Key Species: Giant Anteaters,Tamandua, Armadillo, Red & Green Macaws, Capybaras, Crab-eating foxes

• Special Activities: Macaw Canyon visit, snorkelling in crystal-clear rivers (Optional)

North Pantanal:

• Landscapes: River channels, dense riverbanks, gallery forests

• Key Species: Jaguars, Giant otters, Hyacinth Macaw, Caimans, Tapir, Jabiru storks, Anacondas, Howler monkeys, Toucan etc

• Special Activities: Multiple boat safaris dedicated to jaguar photography, Ocelot hide photography

2. Small Group Experience :  Travel with a small group of like-minded photographers, ensuring ample time with subjects and personalized guidance in the field.

 

3. Stay at a Floating Hotel near prime jaguar territory, good use of morning light.

4. Exclusive Safari Boats with low deck for eye level photography, rotating chairs & sunroof.

Detail Itinerary 

Day 1:  Arrival in Campo Grande via São Paulo. Transfer to hotel (D).

Day 2-3:  Post Breakfast drive to Aguape Lodge, Explore surrounding on vehicle, foot. 

Day 4:  Visit Macaw Canyon, a breathtaking natural habitat of red-and-green macaws. Snorkelling at Rio do Prata (optional), one of the world’s clearest rivers, teeming with fish.

Day 5: Morning revisit to Macaw Canyon, Transfer to Campo Grande to fly Cuiabá, gateway to the North Pantanal.

Bonito - Aguape

Cuiaba -Porto Jofre

Day 6-7: Transfer to SouthWild Pantanal Lodge for wildlife photography along the Pixaim River, bird feeders, evening visit Ocelot hide.

Days 8,9,10,11: Continue to Porto Jofre,  we board a floating houseboat in the heart of Jaguar Land. Afternoon boat safari to search for our first jaguar sightings.  Three full days of dedicated jaguar photography. Expect multiple jaguar encounters, plus giant otters, caimans, and birdlife.

Day 12: Final morning boat ride to say goodbye to Jaguars, followed by lunch and a scenic drive back to Cuiabá (B,L). Tour concludes.
