Who Should Participate ?

This photography Safari is planned for photographers & Nature lovers. Past experience of over 12 years in conducting photography tour to Kenya, your tour leader will guide to under stand animal behaviour and create better photographs. We had sourced best camp & guide, to make African safari experience affordable and equally productive. This safari is for really for anyone who wants to improve photography skills while practising on Safari, Non-photographing companions are also welcome only if they have temperament of remain patient. Our is very time demanding and photography focused tours, which evolves leaving camps early, long hours in field & hours of patiently waiting if situation demands.

Highlights of Tour

Well thought itinerary: Three destinations we have chosen keeping in mind that we will have chance to see large bio-diversity Kenya has to offer. Lake Naivasha will provide us opportunity to do Boat Safari, can see Iconic African Fish eagle & other birds up close. Lake Nakuru will be place to come face to face with Rhinos both Black & White and lastly Maasai Mara is home for largest density of Big Cats: Lion, Leopard & Cheetah.

Location of our camp: We made choice of camp such that it is located right in middle of Masai Mara National Reserve. Masai Mara s very huge park, so if you located in middle you have all happening places within short distance. When you have important species right near to your camp, you don’t lose very important photography light i.e. Morning first light & Evening last light driving in search of animals.

Customized photography vehicle: Safari vehicles will be 4x4 Toyota Land Cruisers, appositely modified for wildlife photography, with opening roof hatches for 360 degree view, large side windows for comfortable photography. It has metal bar running right around roof to install your super clamps & ball or gimbal heads. Each vehicle will have good number of bean bags.

Detail Itinerary

DAY 1: LAKE NAIVASHA

After breakfast we will pick you from your hotel at Nairobi or from airport depends upon your arrival. We will drive to Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge for about 2.5hr drive away, passing through beautiful view of rift valley. We arrive Sopa lodge at time of lunch. Lake Naivasha is fresh water lake, which host large variety of bird life and hippos. 2 hrs boat rides will provide excellent opportunity to capture iconic African fish Eagle hunting fish, we will also get opportunity to capture hippos at low level.

Stay : Sopa Lodge /Equivalent ( L, D )

DAY 2: LAKE NAKURU

Post morning boat ride in lake Naivasha, we will drive for about 1hr to Lake Nakuru National Park, Its best place to photograph both Black and White Rhinoceroses, and also hosts a sizeable population of tree-climbing Lions and Leopards. Post lunch we will go for afternoon safari. Though our main focus will be Rhino, but Lake Nakuru also attracts large numbers of bird species like, pelicans, herons, egrets and hamerkop and kingfishers.

Stay: Sarova Lion Hill / Equivalent ( Full Board)

DAY 3,4,5,6 : MAASAI MARA

We will drive for 5hrs to reach best wildlife photography destinations in Africa, Masai Mara National reserve. It is a dream destination for wildlife photographer, as no other place in Africa boasts the density and verity of animals then Masai Mara does. We'll photograph the famous big cats, Lions, Leopards and Cheetahs, but we shall also seek opportunities to photograph the equally fascinating small cats, Caracals and Servals. Park is famous for the large herds of elephant and buffalo that meander its plains; also for the fat pods of hippo that wallow in its mud-brown rivers. Other stars include the distinctive Masai giraffe, plum-coloured Topi, Coke's hartebeest, other Antelopes

Stay: Mara Trials Camp / Equivalent ( Full Board)

DAY 7 : MAASAI MARA - NAIROBI

Post morning safari, after breakfast, we will have last safari till Park Gate. Where our taxi will pick us to be dropped at Nairobi Airport, or choice of your hotel. It will be approx 5 hr drive, so kindly plan your return International flight late evening or next day morning. (B)
